Elite+ - Vein Removal

Please stop tanning for 4 weeks before treatment: a fresh tan can interfere with the effectiveness of the laser treatment. Always use an SPF 30 daily.
Please shave or clip excess hair in the treatment area the day before treatment or on the morning of treatment. This way, the skin will be less sensitive. Excess hair above the skin's surface absorbs and wastes laser energy and reduces the amount of energy that reaches the unwanted blood vessels where it is needed. Excess hair above the surface of the skin also increases the chances of burning or irritating the skin. We prefer you shave 24hrs. before.
Some clients find taking two or three plain Tylenol 2 hours before the treatment is helpful. Women who find that they are less sensitive after their menstruation prefer to schedule their treatment sessions accordingly. You will be less sensitive if you are well-rested, well-fed, and not thirsty at the time of treatment. You should pamper yourself on laser day!
Do not use self-tanners (including spray tans) for a least a minimum of 10 days prior to the treatment.
Do not use Retin A / Glycolic / Mask or Exfoliating Treatments for 3-5 days prior to the treatment.
No wind burns in the treatment area.
-
No excessive nose \ blowing after treatment on nasal vessels, as it will decrease the success of the treatment. Gently use a Q-tip for 4-7 days.
Redness often will fade within a day or two. It would not be uncommon for the skin to be slightly drier. You may require more moisturizer for a few days. The treated blood vessels may appear slightly more obvious for the next week or two, but this is seldom and generally much less obvious than after injections sclerotherapy.
Masking or concealer cosmetics may be used 24hrs. post-treatment as necessary, but do not overly rub or irritate the vessels that have been treated.
No picking, scratching or irritating treatment area while healing.
Try to avoid tanning for two weeks after treatment because occasionally, the tan could be somewhat irregular, light and/ or darker in the treated areas. We recommend the use of sunscreens to protect your skin.
You do not need to purchase expensive support stockings or special creams and there is no special routine for you to follow, except if larger vessels are also treated by sclerotherapy in combination treatment with laser, then you may be encouraged to wear support hose for several weeks. However, exercises that cause vasodilation for 1 week post-treatment and walking are encouraged.
Blistering or scaling after laser treatment is very rare but usually resolves over a few days or a week with a bit of Polysporin or Aloe Vera cream several times a day.
Please avoid hot tubs, pools, hot baths, or showers for 48-72hrs.
Please avoid spicy foods, and red wine (alcohol) for a few days.
Please avoid Retin A / Glycolic / Mask or Exfoliating Treatments for 5-7 days

Please do not wear make-up on the areas to treat.
If you have a history of cold sore outbreaks, consult a Physician for prophylaxis prior to treatment.
An accurate diagnosis of brown spots by a skin care physician prior to treatment is necessary before treatment of any lesions.
Be aware there is the possibility of coincidental hair loss when treating pigmented lesions in hair-bearing areas.
Topical anesthetics are generally not needed for this procedure.

Potenza MicroNeedling
How Does Potenza Work?
The RF energy heats the underlying layers, causing constriction and tightening of the skin through soft-tissue coagulation. It also stimulates the production of collagen and elastin. Because the RF energy is delivered deeply, it produces quicker and more dramatic results.
Semi-insulated vs Insulated Tips – What’s the difference?
Another instance of our Potenza microneedling machine’s versatility lies within the options of semi-insulated and insulated tips.
Semi-insulated tips allow for increased coverage in a single insertion, whereas insulated needles are great for deep (bipolar) treatments and targeted areas at superficial (monopolar) depths.
THE ONLY OF ITS KIND
Many different topicals are used with RF microneedling devices today however, only 1- 5% of most topically applied medications are typically absorbed by the skin, and the amount that reaches the target depth is frequently insufficient to be effective.
The Fusion Tip is specifically designed to drive topicals into the dermis while simultaneously creating a thermal coagulative event.
Key benefits:
· Ability to drive 67% more topicals into the skin than other devices
· More efficient use of expensive topicals
· Better patient experience and customized cocktails
